Arez Ezman (M.wREGA, DPIN-JPK) is an independent art director, illustrator, and a graphic designer from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Over the years he has been a whisper between clients as a digital merc, servicing the likes of Lamborghini and Khazanah National Berhad. Rarely seen in public, he is often spotted in good gastronomic establishments from time to time – particularly for their gourmet burger.
After 14 years in the industry, Arez accepted the position as a Committee Member and Ethics Chair of the Graphic Design Association of Malaysia (wREGA) and recognized as a Registered Industry Expert by the Ministry of Human Resources after being part of the Multimedia Development Corporation’s (MDeC) National Occupancy Skill Standard (NOSS) competency program for 3 years in a row. In addition, Arez is a regular contributor to CutOut Magazine, winner of the Best of Golden Pin Design Award in 2014. Also in 2014, he produced the official logo for Malaysian Design Council’s (MRM) first and inaugural design festival, The Malaysian Design Festival (MaDe 2014), which was ultimately approved by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MoSTI).
As the journey continues, he will recapitulate the growth of the industry on an international strata; developing the global requirements to achieve the optimum high-skilled workforce through education and experience.
